Job Description

The incumbent will work with the Fixed Income traders and Portfolio Managers to create, improve and expand upon trading and analytical tools. The data analyst is also responsible for creating and maintaining a database of client and security level data with a goal of initiating trade ideas, assist in the formulation of strategy and to monitor/analyze risk buckets. Other responsibilities include learning and keeping up-to-date on the Fixed Income group s reporting needs, working with Operations personnel to identify and develop efficiencies, and streamlining daily workflows. An ideal candidate should be a fast learner of new tools and technologies. Have passion for continuous research inside and outside the current focus fields. Must be able to improvise and think across disciplines. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate technical terminology to non-technical employees. Must be an excellent team player and be able to offer support and establish trust with our partners in business operations.



  • BS/BA degree computer science, engineering and or mathematics.
  • 2-4 years of data analysis experience, prior work in financial services and/ or familiarity with fixed income securities. 
  • Advanced  Excel, VAB, SQL, R and some data science background. The incumbent will need to work with our internal information systems team, fixed income portfolio managers and traders and compliance.
