Job Description

Several new projects have been approved by the business for 2018. Among them MIFID II, GSP/DTC Trade Locking, Franklin Templeton, multiple sub accounts at Sub Custodians and Client Account onboarding. All of these are high priority business initiatives


Primary job responsibilities will be to manage multiple teams of Lead developers and developers through definition, design, development and testing for our Global Custody system. Experience with managing off shore resources. This is a senior Application management position that will be responsible for project tracking and reporting, budget management, staff performance review and goal setting. 

Sr.Group Manager, Product Management->> Manages multiple teams of Product Analysts. Supports multiple products and provides oversight and operational direction. Responsible for managing multiple, complex products, that may be global in scope. Leads and oversees complex product management projects, budgets, resourcing, etc. to support the success of product life cycles. Provides innovative direction and guidance on product management processes and methods to ensure products are aligned with client needs. Advises product management teams by providing direction to identify potential project issues or opportunities. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Manages multiple product management teams. Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives.


In depth knowledge of COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DBII with a minimum of 7-10 years experience managing large scale mainframe projects. Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in a Custody or Asset Servicing/Management company. Experience project life cycle methodologies including Agile. Independent, self-motived individual with hands on technical skills. The role includes driving solutions to design challenges and guide to focus on themes of platform modernization and resiliency and performance.     

Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred 12+ years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industries is a plus.
